Standard magnetic locks, commonly known as maglocks, use an electromagnet mounted to the door frame and an armature plate fitted to the door. When powered, the magnetic force holds the door securely closed. When power is removed, the lock releases, making magnetic locks a popular choice for access control systems and other controlled entry applications.

Our standard magnetic lock range typically provides a holding force of up to 1200lbs (544kg), making it suitable for many medium to heavy-duty access control installations.

Available options include monitored and unmonitored models, door status versions, single and double magnetic locks, mortice-mounted models, fire-tested options and compatible mounting accessories.
