Midi Magnetic Locks

Our range of midi magnetic locks provides compact fail-safe access control locking for applications where a full-size standard maglock may be larger than required, while still offering greater holding force than many mini magnetic locks.

Midi magnetic locks, commonly known as maglocks, use an electromagnet and armature plate to hold the door securely closed while power is applied. When power is removed, the lock releases, making them suitable for integration with access control systems, keypads, proximity readers, intercoms, timers and emergency door release equipment.

Midi maglocks are well suited to commercial, residential, educational and light industrial applications where a balance of compact size, holding force and straightforward installation is required.

Available options may include monitored and unmonitored models, door status versions, single and double magnetic locks, external weather-resistant models and compatible mounting accessories.

Typical applications include:

  • Internal access control doors
  • Commercial entrances
  • Office buildings
  • Residential developments
  • Educational facilities
  • Healthcare buildings
  • Aluminium doors
  • Timber doors
  • Restricted access areas
  • Single and double door installations
  • Medium-duty access control applications

Midi magnetic locks can be used with compatible Z & L brackets, armature housings, mounting plates, fixing kits, access control equipment, emergency door release units and power supplies.

Please check the required holding force, operating voltage, monitoring requirements, door type, mounting position and bracket requirements before ordering.
