Micro magnetic locks, commonly known as micro maglocks, use an electromagnet and armature plate to hold the door securely closed while power is applied. When power is removed, the lock releases, making them suitable for integration with access control systems, keypads, proximity readers, intercoms, timers and emergency door release equipment.

Their compact size makes micro maglocks particularly useful for smaller doors, cabinets, display enclosures, lightweight access points and specialist applications where a mini or standard magnetic lock may be too large.
