GK1276M Electronic Rim Strike Lock for Emergency Push Bars
The GK1276M Electronic Rim Strike is a heavy-duty electric release lock designed specifically for use with emergency push bars, panic latches, and escape door hardware. Suitable for commercial, industrial, educational, healthcare, and public sector environments, it provides secure access control whilst maintaining safe emergency egress.
An electronic strike, also known as a rim strike, electric release, or latch release, is installed within the door frame and operates in conjunction with a compatible panic latch or push bar device. When activated, the strike releases the latch, allowing the door to be opened remotely without compromising security. Once the door closes, the latch automatically re-engages to restore secure locking.
Designed for demanding access control applications, the GK1276M offers selectable fail-safe or fail-secure operation, monitored latch status, and a high static holding strength of up to 680kg. Operating from either 12VDC or 24VDC power supplies, it provides a flexible and reliable solution for doors fitted with emergency exit hardware.
