The inside handle remains operational at all times, allowing users to exit freely without requiring an access control credential or release device. From the outside, access can be controlled through a compatible access control system, while mechanical key override remains available at all times.
Designed for read-in, free-egress access control applications, the Package 5ME provides the main locking hardware required to create a high-security compliant door solution. When used with the correct door furniture, the package complies with EN 179 for emergency exit applications and is also suitable for applications requiring compliance with EN 1634-1, EN 61000-6-1, EN 1303 and EN 14846.
