The U10040 Series Monitored Standard Double Magnetic Locks (Maglocks) are high-performance electromagnetic locking solutions designed for use with access control systems, door entry systems, intercoms, and electronic door security applications. Suitable for commercial, industrial, educational, healthcare, residential, and public sector environments, they provide secure and reliable locking for double-door access control installations.
Featuring a holding force of up to 2 x 1200lbs (544kg), these double magnetic locks deliver exceptional door security whilst maintaining fail-safe operation for safe emergency egress. Manufactured with an aluminium housing and electroless nickel plated armature plates, they are designed for long-term reliability and consistent performance in demanding environments.
All models include lock status monitoring with an output for connection to compatible access control systems. Each lock also features LED lock status indication, showing green when unlocked and red when locked. The U10040DSU and FR-U10040DSU versions additionally include a door status output. The FR-U10040 and FR-U10040DSU versions have been fire tested to BS EN 1634-1 and are suitable for installation on FD30 and FD60 fire doors.
