U10000 / U10000R Mini Mortice Magnetic Lock (Maglock)

The U10000 and U10000R Mini Mortice Magnetic Locks are compact electromagnetic locking solutions designed for use with access control systems, door entry systems, intercoms, and electronic security installations. Suitable for commercial, industrial, educational, healthcare, residential, and public sector environments, they provide reliable fail-safe locking whilst allowing the lock body to be concealed within the door frame for a discreet installation.

An electromagnetic lock, commonly known as a magnetic lock or maglock, consists of an electromagnet mounted within the door frame and a matching armature plate fitted to the door. When power is applied, the electromagnet generates a powerful magnetic field that securely holds the armature plate in place. As a fail-safe device, the lock automatically releases when power is removed, ensuring safe emergency egress.

Operating from a selectable 12VDC or 24VDC power supply, the U10000 series provides a holding force of up to 600lbs (272kg). Manufactured with a durable aluminium housing and an electroless nickel-plated armature, the locks are designed for long-term reliability and corrosion resistance. The U10000R additionally features lock monitoring, providing lock status feedback to compatible access control systems.
